We are so excited to be holding our Summer Fair on Friday 5th July, from 3.20-6.30pm. As you are aware our events cannot take place without the support of YOU lovely people - parents, carers and families!

I am delighted to inform you that after a rigorous tendering process for our catering service across the federation of schools, we have awarded Edwards & Ward our contract https://edwardsandward.co.uk/. Please see their newsletter attached to find out more about the company.

Your new PTA have been working hard over the last few weeks to create a calendar of events for you and your children to enjoy over the coming year!  We are delighted to be able to share it with you now (so pop the dates in your diary!), along with our first newsletter introducing ourselves properly and bringing you up to speed with everything that's been going on.

We look forward to seeing some of you tonight for our first social meeting (The White Hart, Wood Street Village, from 7.30pm) where we will get stuck into planning our Christmas Fair and we wish the rest of you a lovely Half Term break.

We had a fantastic PTA AGM last Thursday. There was so much enthusiasm for the year ahead and loads of great ideas shared to raise funds to make the school environment the best it can be for our children, but we can't do it without you all!

Please take a couple of minutes to have a read through the minutes attached to hear about all the fun of last year and plans for the year ahead.

As you know, all of our Summer Holiday Club days that are available to book NOW!

This year, we are offering more days than ever before.  At the moment we are open every day for the first five weeks of the holidays.  We may also add more dates for the final week in due course.

Days will run as usual from 8:00am - 4:00pm.

As always, we also have ‘Passes’ available for 10 Days that can be used throughout the summer:

• 10 Day Pass for one child = £240 (Saving £35)
• 10 Day Sibling pass for two children = £450 (Saving £50)
• 10 Day Sibling Pass for three children = £630 (Saving £70)

You can purchase the passes on the main page of the booking site.  All you’ll have to do is select one date and then you can add dates nearer the time.

If you’re super organised and already know your schedule for the summer then I urge you to book in ASAP as places will fill up fast as the half term goes on.  Just hit the button below to secure your places.

The Household Support Fund helps ease financial pressure on residents with low incomes. It offers help with food, energy bills and other essential household items. The Department for Work and Pensions fund the scheme.

The scheme will run until 31 March 2023 or earlier if all funds have been allocated.

We are pleased to let you know that as a school,  we are going to be supporting the fantastic charity Challengers. Challengers provide play and leisure for disabled children and young people, as every child has a right to play.  We know how brilliant this charity is and how much support it provides for the families that use their service.

PLEASE NOTE: ANY SNACKS MUST BE NUT FREE - NO NUTS!

We are holding the following consultation drop-in sessions for parents/carers and other interested parties to have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and to speak to governors and staff about the proposed federation.
